Hey! Soz i dont use deviantart much. I didnt take gcse textiles as a gcse either.

Of course i will help you. If you want add me on msn: luce-lu@hotmail.co.uk and i will give you advice or whatever you would like over there.


For natural forms i would think about making a fabric textured this could be via stitching over a fabric close together in rows, to make it more rigid. If the project you are assigned includes making a 3d piece also think about stitching wire between two pieces of fabric and then working it into shape...

I Hope this helps a little bit, and makes some sense.

Well im really amateur myself, but i know something after doing my school textiles class..

Work on something you are passionate in, you see the image you commented me on :)
i was soo passionate about it that i finished most of it in a day :)

but when it came to something else i wasnt too strong about, i just didnt work on it.

Good luck with everything :) i hope you do well, i'll upload some more stuff u can look at aswell ^^
